Employer Ledger reproduces agency files without editorial changes, so most differences between this site and an employer's own understanding of its record come from the files themselves or from how records were matched to a name.

Disputes about a record

Inspection results, citations, back-wage findings, application statuses and election tallies are the agencies' records. An employer that believes one is wrong should take it up with the agency: OSHA (informal conference or notice of contest), the Wage and Hour Division, OFLC, USAspending's agency reporters or the NLRB. Changes the agency makes appear here at the next refresh of that source after they are published.

Matching and processing errors

If records from another company are attached to your employer page, a name variant is missing, a figure does not match the file it cites, or a person's name appears anywhere, write to the address on the contact page with the page URL and what you expect to see. Employers get a reply within five working days; processing errors are fixed in the code or the alias file and the site is rebuilt.

Removal

Pages about a natural person are removed immediately on request; the site is meant to hold none. Requests to remove an organisation's page are answered with the policy above: the underlying records are public and the page reproduces them with the agency's own status and caveats.
